If Rangers overcome Polish club Jagiellonia Białystok in the third round of Europa League qualification, their next opponents will be Lillestrom of Norway, the winners of Larne versus Iberia 1999, or the losing side from either Levski Sofia against Kairat Almaty or Mjallby against Slovan Bratislava.
After dropping out of Champions League qualification, Hearts will meet Benfica, with the winner having four potential opponents in the play-off round.
The possible opposition includes OFI Crete, the winners of Thun against Vikingur Reykjavik, or the losing teams from AGF Aarhus versus Sabah and Dinamo versus Kauno Zalgiris.
If Hearts are beaten by Benfica, they will enter a Conference League play-off against Atalanta, Freiburg, or the winners of Panathinaikos versus CSKA, Paide Linnameeskond versus Rapid Vienna, or Sheriff Tiraspol versus St Gallen.

If Hibs defeat Macedonian club Shkendija, they could be drawn against Brighton & Hove Albion, Monaco, the winners of Bohemian versus Midtjylland or IFK Gothenburg versus Gent, or the losing side from Pafos against Salzburg.
