Manchester City are nearing an agreement to sell Savinho to Tottenham in an £85m transfer. The north London side are also working on a separate deal worth approximately £75m for Omar Marmoush, who would arrive from the FA Cup holders.
Savinho joined the City Football Group in the summer of 2022 for €40m (£30.8m), initially becoming a Troyes player. Selling the 22-year-old for £85m would therefore generate close to £55m in profit for the group’s owners. Following loan spells with PSV and Girona, the Brazilian moved to City two years ago, but the winger was unable to secure a regular starting place under former manager Pep Guardiola.
Marmoush arrived for about £59m in January 2025. Like Savinho, the Egyptian attacker struggled to feature consistently in Guardiola’s starting lineup, largely because he was competing with Erling Haaland.
Should Spurs complete both transfers, their summer spending on Roberto De Zerbi’s squad would rise to £387m. That total includes the signings of Sandro Tonali for £100m, Mateus Fernandes for £85m and Jan Paul van Hencke for £52m.
