During his spell at City, Hart claimed two Premier League titles in 2011-12 and 2013-14, lifted the League Cup in 2013-14 and 2015-16, and won the FA Cup in 2010-11.
The 39-year-old explained that, with no firm outcome in place, the situation simply had to be allowed to unfold. He added that he did not believe any of his accomplishments had been diminished.
Hart said that further discussions would be necessary if Manchester City were ultimately found guilty, although he did not expect that to happen based on Khaldoon’s comments.
He added that he remained composed and confident, while taking great pride in both his personal achievements and everything the team accomplished during his time at the club. In his view, that would not change unless the facts proved otherwise.
City faced allegations involving numerous rule violations, mainly claims that sponsorship income from associated businesses had been overstated and that additional undisclosed payments were used to avoid financial restrictions.
Hart said he had not considered discussing the developments with his former City colleagues because he did not want to become caught up in speculation and hypothetical scenarios.
He said his role was straightforward: he took part in 11-against-11 matches, competed on the field, experienced wins, defeats and draws, and then shook hands before leaving the pitch.
Hart maintained that he understood exactly what he and the team had done and how they had achieved it, adding that there had never been any sense of secret planning or manipulation.
