Greek winger Alexandros Kyziridis has departed Heart of Midlothian to sign for Turkish side Corum in a transfer reportedly worth approximately £1.7m.
The 25-year-old, who earned his first international cap this year, arrived at Tynecastle on a free transfer from Slovakian club Zemplin Michalovce last summer.
During his time with Hearts, Kyziridis registered six goals and 11 assists across 45 appearances.
Newly promoted Corum, preparing for their first season in the Super Lig, confirmed that Kyziridis has agreed to a three-year contract that includes an option for an additional year.
Following Sunday’s 4-0 victory against Dundee United, Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken said the transfer represented a positive outcome for both the club and the player.
He added that Kyziridis had joined without a transfer fee and was now leaving in a valuable deal, while stressing that the team’s attention would remain on its current squad.
