David Raya: Denied Phil Foden with a solid stop and confidently claimed a corner during the opening half. The Arsenal goalkeeper was composed in possession and launched one particularly impressive pass toward Christos Tzolis to begin a counterattack. 7
Ben White: The importance of having Ben White healthy and available for Arsenal is often overlooked. His experience showed as he contained Jeremy Doku and supported Noni Madueke going forward. He also made a crucial second-half block when Doku found space to shoot. 7
Cristhian Mosquera: Recovered well before calmly returning the ball to Raya despite pressure from Erling Haaland. Appeared assured throughout the match. 7
Gabriel Magalhaes: Made an important intervention to stop Doku’s attempted cross, celebrating the defensive play with the winger in sight and alongside his Arsenal teammates. Gave Haaland almost no opportunity to influence the contest. 8
Riccardo Calafiori (off 60, Hincapie): Opened the scoring from the first notable attacking move of the game. The Italian full-back remains central to Arsenal’s offensive approach, with his freedom to move across the field making him difficult to track. He could be heading toward an outstanding campaign. 8
Myles Lewis-Skelly (off 75, Zubimendi): Maintained his impressive pre-season level by threading Calafiori through for the opening goal, immediately establishing the rhythm of the match. He disrupted opposing attacks and delivered a composed display that strengthened the case for keeping him at the club. 8
Bruno Guimaraes (off 46, Rice): Settled into Arsenal’s midfield as though he had been part of the side for some time. The Brazilian consistently offered himself for possession and attempted to move the ball forward without delay. His appearance ended at the interval. 7
Martin Odegaard (off 84, Eze): Arsenal’s captain has looked fully fit throughout pre-season and once again demonstrated his significance to the team. He played with greater attacking intent than during much of the previous campaign, while his curling delivery helped create Arsenal’s second goal. He later added the third with an intelligent finish. 9
Noni Madueke (off 60, Saka): Produced several encouraging moments, with his speed giving Arsenal a regular outlet on the flank. However, the quality of his final delivery still needed improvement at times. 6
Christos Tzolis: Made an excellent impression in his first competitive Arsenal appearance. The wide player supplied two assists during a convincing victory and appears capable of bringing additional creativity to the attack. 8
Kai Havertz (off 75, Gyokores): Operated as the central striker and gave Arsenal a reliable target in the final third. The attack functioned more effectively with the German leading it, and he rewarded his performance by scoring the team’s second goal. 7
