Women’s Super League: Crystal Palace on verge of securing Sierra Enge deal

Women's Super League

Crystal Palace, newly promoted to the Women’s Super League, are close to acquiring midfielder Sierra Enge from French club Strasbourg.

The 26-year-old from the United States has settled on a two-year contract with the Eagles, with the move subject to international clearance.

She will be manager Jo Potter’s first addition since the side regained their place in the WSL after spending one season in the second division.

“The WSL is the best league globally and to play in it is a dream come true,” Enge said. “The feeling of being at Palace is incredible, the facilities are top-class, and I am just really delighted to be here.”

In 2023, San Diego Wave FC selected her in the second round of the National Women’s Soccer League Draft, and she then made the move to France in 2024.

The former United States Under-23 midfielder helped the then-newly promoted top-flight side achieve ninth and seventh-place finishes across her two seasons, starting 21 of the 22 matches during the 2026-27 campaign.

Manager Potter added: “Sierra brings genuine quality and added depth to our midfield as we strive for success upon our return to the WSL.”
