Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): His crucial second-half block prevented the score from becoming 1-1 and stopped the opposition from building momentum. Although defending is not considered his greatest strength, he delivered an excellent performance.
Jefferson Lerma (Crystal Palace): Despite being a central midfielder operating in defence, he scored, produced several important tackles and confidently moved the ball out from the back. His influence helped drive Palace forward, earning him a place in the selection.
James Justin (Leeds): He clearly enjoys facing Arsenal, but his development since leaving Leicester for Leeds has been remarkable. His versatility allows him to perform at right wing-back or on the right side of central defence, and his overall contribution is exceptional. He deserves far more recognition after scoring a superb goal and coming close to adding more.
Ethan Pinnock (Coventry): His move from Brentford to Coventry initially appeared questionable because he seemed unlikely to transform the team. That assessment has proved completely wrong. Alongside his strength and physical presence, he brings composure and leadership, helping those around him through matches. Coventry have continued to improve each week since he entered the side.
Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal): He may currently be Arsenal’s most effective attacking outlet. He consistently finds dangerous areas, remains dependable defensively and also contributes with goals and assists.
