Chelsea are considering loan options for Mykhailo Mudryk as the winger works to regain full fitness following a 20-month absence from competitive football.
The 25-year-old Ukrainian has not featured in a competitive fixture since November 2024.
He received a four-year suspension after testing positive for meldonium, a prohibited substance.
The doping matter was subsequently settled, allowing the winger to return as a substitute in pre-season friendlies against Juventus, AC Milan and Johor Darul Ta’zim during Chelsea’s Asian tour.
Following discussions held at the end of the tour, Mudryk accepted that he would depart on loan before the 1 September transfer deadline.
Strasbourg, which is also owned by BlueCo, has been suggested as one possible destination, although Mudryk would rather join another club in England’s top division.
A number of other teams are also being considered, with several prominent Italian clubs reportedly among the possible options.
Mudryk’s current deal runs until 2031 after he moved from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023 for an initial fee of £61m.
