Galatasaray’s interest in Gabriel Martinelli appeared straightforward at first, but the situation became more complicated within 24 hours. Arsenal have reportedly been given the option of exchanging the Brazilian for Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, an offer that may appeal to a club seeking a new No 9. Ethan Nwaneri could also be included to turn the proposal into a major swap deal.

Tijjani Reijnders could find it difficult to secure an ideal position in Enzo Maresca’s Manchester City setup. The Netherlands international has already been connected with Nottingham Forest, while Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah have also shown interest. Managed by Brendan Rodgers, the club are reportedly prepared to pay £51m for the midfielder.

Newcastle are looking for a central midfielder following the departures of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães to Spurs and Arsenal. Having received approximately £175m for the pair, they are considering a move for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba. The Magpies may also sign Rafik Belghali if they agree to pay £12m for the right-back.

Leeds are working to advance a deal for Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi, who previously played under Daniel Farke. The 29-year-old centre-back is eager to leave and has only one year remaining on his contract, making a move to Elland Road increasingly likely.

Nottingham Forest are set to strengthen their goalkeeping options by signing former Swansea goalkeeper Steven Benda on a free transfer. He is expected to provide additional depth as the club’s third-choice keeper.

Crystal Palace are also aiming to improve the depth of their squad. Anan Khalaili is expected to arrive from Union Saint-Gilloise and compete with Daniel Munoz at right-back. Palace could also face competition for Lecce centre-back Tiago Gabriel, who is valued at £25m. Bournemouth are monitoring the defender as well, while Benfica previously submitted an offer for him.

Wilfried Zaha is currently without a club and has returned to train with Crystal Palace to maintain his fitness. A reunion could be considered, given that he developed through the academy at Selhurst Park and later returned for a second spell after his time at Manchester United did not go as planned.

Hull continue to feature prominently in transfer speculation, with Real Betis winger Pablo García the latest player linked with the club. Several teams are pursuing him, although the prospect of playing in the Premier League may prove attractive. The Tigers are also seeking a central midfielder and have submitted a £15m offer to Everton for Tim Iroegbunam.
