Heart of Midlothian are set to face either Fenerbahce or Gornik Zabrze should they overcome Sturm Graz in the Champions League qualifiers.
Rangers, placed among the seeds for the third qualifying round of the Europa League, will take on Jagiellonia Bialystok from Poland.
Should Hearts fall to the Austrian outfit, they would encounter either Benfica or Swiss club St Gallen in the Europa League.
Fenerbahce and Gornik Zabrze both ended the previous campaign as league runners-up in their respective countries, while Jagiellonia Bialystok finished just behind Gornik due to an inferior goal difference.
The Champions League third qualifying round fixtures are set for the 4th/5th and 11th/12th of August, while the Europa League ties will take place on the 6th and 13th of August.
Hearts, who travel to Graz for the first leg on Tuesday, haven’t featured in Champions League qualifying since the 2006-07 season, when they were eliminated in the third qualifying round by AEK Athens.
In the previous season, Rangers began their European journey in the Champions League qualifiers but ended up 32nd out of 36 teams in the Europa League group stage, recording only a single victory from eight matches.
Motherwell and Hibernian are both waiting to learn who they could face in the Conference League.
The team from Fir Park will face HB of the Faroe Islands, and the victors could go on to meet one of several pairings: LNZ Cherkasy (UKR) or Gent (BEL), Besiktas (TUR) or FC Midtjylland (DEN), HJK Helsinki (FIN) or Coleraine (NIR), Twente (NED) or Ferencvaros (HUN), or RFS (Lat) against Vestri (ISL).
At the same time, Hibs will square off against Kosovan outfit FK Malisheva, and their prospective opponents in the next round could be either NK Bravo (SVN) or KF Shkendija (MKD), FC Santa Coloma (AND) or SK Rapid (AUT), Rakow (POL) or Valetta (MLT), NK Rijeka (CRO) or Derry City (IRL), or FC Polissya (UKR) against FC Copenhagen (DEN).
