Scottish shot-stopper Angus Gunn has joined MLS championship contenders San Jose Earthquakes following his departure from Nottingham Forest.
The 30-year-old, who has earned 25 international appearances for his nation, has committed to a deal that runs through the conclusion of the 2030 MLS campaign.
Coach Bruce Arena’s squad currently occupy second place in the Western Conference after 15 matches this term, trailing only Vancouver Whitecaps on goal differential but having played one extra fixture.
They also hold the third spot in the overall standings, and Gunn has set his sights on challenging for silverware.
“Joining the Earthquakes is an amazing feeling,” he shared with the club’s official website. “After the World Cup, which was a phenomenal experience, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for this chance to come to San Jose and showcase my very best form.
“We are in a strong position for the postseason, so with the right mindset, we can set our sights firmly on that objective.”
