The US men’s national team will begin its preparations for the next World Cup cycle by playing four home matches in an 11-day span.
The friendly schedule features Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada, with every match taking place in a US city that did not stage World Cup games this summer.
The US will meet Peru at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, on 26 September before welcoming Chile to Energizer Park in St Louis three days later. The rivalry with Mexico will continue at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on 3 October, followed by the final match against Canada at Allianz Field in St Paul, Minnesota, three days afterward.
TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock will carry all four fixtures.
The matches follow the US team’s appearance in the World Cup round of 16 and will be its first outings since head coach Mauricio Pochettino signed a new contract extending his tenure through 2030.
Pochettino said the team was thrilled to open the next stage of its journey in front of its home supporters, whose outstanding energy throughout the summer had established a new benchmark.
He added that the team consistently aims to face the strongest opposition available and that these fixtures will give the squad a valuable range of challenges as it enters a new era.
Spain, Portugal and Morocco will host the 2030 World Cup.
