Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Real Salt Lake forward Zavier Gozo for a fee reportedly worth $15m (£11.1m).
The 19-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract with the London club, pending international approval.
Gozo entered Real Salt Lake’s academy in 2021 before making his Major League Soccer debut in October 2023 at the age of 16.
In the club’s opening 16 league fixtures this year, he recorded six goals and four assists, earning a place in the season’s MLS All-Star Game.
Born in Utah, the highly rated youngster has represented the United States across every age group through the under-23 level.
Gozo is Palace’s sixth arrival of the summer window, joining Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, Evann Guessand and Anan Khalaili among the club’s new recruits.
Palace will begin their Premier League campaign under new head coach Pierre Sage with an away match against Everton on Saturday at 15:00 BST.
