Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for Brest central defender Raphael le Guen.
The 19-year-old is being tracked by the Eagles as Maxence Lacroix’s transfer to Chelsea moves closer to completion.
Le Guen featured for Brest for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign, collecting six appearances in the French top flight.
The young defender started the last four games of the season, including fixtures against Paris St-Germain and Strasbourg.
The South London club have previously fared well bringing in youthful centre-backs from France, with 19-year-old Jaydee Canvot joining from Toulouse the previous season.
Canvot broke into the team following the exit of skipper Marc Guehi and has established himself as a regular in defence.
The club also hold an interest in Augsburg defender Chrislain Matsima as another option to fill the void left by Lacroix.
The former France Under-21 international, 24, is receptive to a switch to Selhurst Park, where he would link up with fellow Frenchman Pierre Sage, who took over as Palace head coach earlier in the summer.
