Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Christian Norgaard from Arsenal on a two-year agreement for an undisclosed sum.

Norgaard joined Arsenal from Brentford for £15m last year but was not included in the squad for Wednesday’s friendly with Real Betis.
He featured 20 times across all competitions for Arsenal last season, although only seven of those appearances came in the Premier League as the north London side secured their first championship in 22 years.
Everton have strengthened their squad further this summer by bringing in central midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough for £16.5m and signing 20-year-old winger Tyrique George from Chelsea for £18m after he spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Toffees.
Norgaard said the plans for the club caught his attention during conversations with manager David Moyes and explained that arriving at Everton had made him even more enthusiastic about the project.
He also believes Everton are progressing positively, pointing to last season as evidence and praising both the quality of the squad and how challenging the team was to face.
Before moving to Arsenal, Norgaard spent six years with Brentford, where he established himself as an influential figure, captained the team and registered 196 appearances.
Moyes has sought to add greater experience to his squad after 37-year-old Republic of Ireland defender Seamus Coleman and 36-year-old Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye left the club.
Everton are also expected to begin the campaign without 25-year-old midfielder James Garner, who underwent groin surgery last month.
Everton will open their Premier League campaign at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, 22 August.
