Former Birmingham City wide player Jordan Graham has been admitted to hospital following a “serious road traffic accident”.
In a statement released by the Professional Footballers’ Association, external on behalf of Graham’s family, it was confirmed that the 31-year-old is undergoing “specialist treatment” after the accident earlier this month.
After arriving from Gillingham, Graham made 49 Championship appearances for Birmingham between 2021 and 2023.
Having developed in Aston Villa’s academy, he went on to feature 17 times for Wolves and also spent periods on loan at Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham.
He has recorded 188 senior appearances across his career, although he has not played competitively since departing Leyton Orient in 2025.
The statement added that Graham’s family deeply appreciates the medical care being provided to him.
They have requested privacy and asked people not to contact them directly while their attention remains fully focused on Jordan’s recovery.
Any further updates will be shared only when the time is considered appropriate.
Gillingham said everyone at the club was keeping Jordan and his family in their thoughts during this difficult period.
The club also expressed its hope that he makes a quick and complete recovery.
Leyton Orient also sent Graham a brief message of support, saying the entire club was behind him.
