Cardiff City have completed the signing of midfielder Jack Moylan from Championship rivals Lincoln City on a contract lasting four years.
The 24-year-old played an important role in the Imps’ rise to the Championship, registering 11 goals and six assists as his side finished ahead of the Bluebirds to claim the League One crown.
Moylan’s outstanding form earned him his first selection for the Republic of Ireland, and he marked his international debut with three goals in a 5-0 victory over Grenada.
The ex-Bohemians and Shelbourne midfielder will now work under Cardiff manager and compatriot Brian Barry-Murphy, having agreed terms through to 2030.
Speaking to Cardiff City TV, Moylan said: “Several things influenced my decision. This is a huge club in a great city, while Brian [Barry-Murphy] is also very highly regarded.
“His approach to the game really appeals to me, and I believe I will enjoy playing in his system. I followed the team closely throughout the past year and also saw the recent match against Roma. The quality of their football is clear to see.”
