Scotland forward Kieron Bowie has joined Serie A club Sassuolo on loan from Hellas Verona.
The striker signed for Verona from Hibernian in January after impressing at Easter Road and later registered four goals in Italy’s top division.
Following Verona’s relegation, the 23-year-old has now secured a season-long move to Sassuolo.
The agreement includes an option for Sassuolo to make the transfer permanent, which may become mandatory if specific conditions are fulfilled.
A statement from Verona confirmed that Bowie had moved to Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio on loan, with a compulsory purchase clause triggered by certain conditions.
The Italian club thanked the forward for his contribution and wished him success in the next stage of his career.
Bowie earned his first Scotland appearance against Liechtenstein in June 2025.
