Harry Maguire: The experienced centre-back delivered a solid display and nearly headed in a late equaliser. He was booked for an unnecessary shove on Enzo Fernandez inside the penalty area. 6
Lisandro Martinez: Stayed composed after Bruno Fernandes mistakenly sent the ball towards his own net and into Erling Haaland’s path, recovering well to dispossess the Norwegian. A respectable showing overall. 7
Patrick Dorgu: Took Luke Shaw’s place at left-back and performed reasonably, although he did not share the same understanding with Rashford. His attempted intervention played a decisive role in City’s opening goal. 6

Marcus Rashford (off 83, Zirkzee): Struck the post with a bending free-kick from distance after beating Donnarumma, then found the side-netting with another effort. His first goal since returning remains elusive. 6
Matheus Cunha: Selected ahead of Benjamin Sesko and pulled an early attempt wide. Frequently involved after moving into deeper areas, but failed to hit the target with another opportunity after the break. 7
