Premier League Transfer Update: Hull Reach £22m Agreement for Everton’s Tim Iroegbunam

News

Hull City have reached an agreement on a £22m deal for Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam.

The 23-year-old is set to depart Hill Dickinson Stadium for an upfront payment of £13m, with performance-related bonuses potentially adding another £9m.

Iroegbunam, who moved from Aston Villa in a £9m transfer in 2024, has received approval to undergo a medical in East Yorkshire.

The proposed move comes during a hectic conclusion to the transfer window for both teams, as Hull aim to recruit several players before Tuesday evening’s deadline.

Iroegbunam would be Hull’s 13th addition of the summer, while negotiations remain ongoing for Chelsea midfielder Dario Essugo to join on loan.

Everton have also accepted a £65m offer from Manchester City for winger Iliman Ndiaye.

The club are nearing an agreement to recruit Monaco forward Folarin Balogun and continue to discuss potential deals for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish and Fulham defender Kenny Tete.

Negotiations to bring Richarlison back from Tottenham have reached an impasse, making a return to Merseyside increasingly unlikely.
