Former Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma is close to completing a move to Ajax on an initial contract lasting until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder became a free agent after leaving Spurs in June and is now preparing to resume his career in the Netherlands.
Bissouma is believed to have accepted a contract through the remainder of the season, including an option to extend it for another year.
The Mali international is in Amsterdam to complete the final steps of his transfer to the Eredivisie side.
After arriving from Brighton in 2022, Bissouma played 111 matches for the north London club.
In August 2025, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank omitted him from the squad that faced Paris St-Germain in the Uefa Super Cup due to repeated lateness.
During his last campaign with Tottenham, Bissouma featured 11 times, exclusively in the Premier League, as the team ended the season in 17th place for a second successive year.
