This week, John Bennett welcomes James Horncastle, recently returned from Como, and Julien Laurens to discuss the Italian club’s stunning midweek victory over Manchester United. They celebrate Como’s performance and hear from Cesc Fabregas. James also adds a touch of Hollywood glamour after Superman was seen in the crowd, prompting John and Jules to wonder whether James can match the superhero’s powers.
The trio considers which currently unemployed coaches from across Europe might be interested in the Manchester United job if Michael Carrick departs, with Antonio Conte among the leading names discussed.
They then assess Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s injury and the potential consequences for PSG’s campaign. The conversation also covers the closely contested title races in Serie A and Ligue 1.
Finally, John, Jules and James preview El Clasico and this weekend’s major Dutch league encounter between PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord, with Marcel van Der Kraan joining the discussion.
