Naderi has now scored three times across his last two league appearances after netting the decisive goal in Rangers’ 1-0 victory away to Celtic before the break.
That moment significantly improved his reputation among supporters who had initially questioned him after the 23-year-old struggled to make his mark following his February move from German third-tier club Hansa Rostock.
He managed only one league goal last season, alongside two strikes in a comfortable League Cup win over Queen’s Park, leaving many unconvinced that he had the qualities required to lead the attack.
Those doubts appear to be fading after he seized his opportunity while injured teammates Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti were unavailable.
With six goals and three assists, many of them at important moments, he has enhanced his standing by combining effective finishing with his physical strength.
One particularly important contribution was his assist for Bojan Miovski’s late winning goal against St Mirren.
Naderi has struck decisive goals against Motherwell and Celtic, while his brace against Kilmarnock also made the difference.
His manager believes Naderi, who earned his first Czech Republic appearance last week, has delivered for Rangers at exactly the right moment.
“Absolutely, and he deserves recognition for it,” McInnes said. “He is a genuine, hard-working player who is always prepared to pressure opposing defenders.
“I have always believed he will find the net when the ball reaches the penalty area. He is not a forward who regularly creates opportunities on his own, so supplying him properly is essential.
“When we delivered the ball into the area, as we did during the opening half, he looked dangerous.
“He has enjoyed an excellent run over the past few weeks, and everyone is delighted for him. This club needs a player capable of scoring consistently.”
