Ipswich have completed the signing of Dutch attacker Zian Flemming from Burnley in a deal reportedly worth £20m.
The 28-year-old has agreed to a four-year contract with Ipswich.
Flemming registered 11 league goals for Burnley during their relegation campaign last season and has added three more in the opening four matches of the current season.
Ipswich manager Gary O’Neil praised the forward’s impressive debut season and expressed his delight at bringing him to the club.
O’Neil highlighted Flemming’s ability and experience, adding that his strong start to the campaign makes him an excellent addition as Ipswich continue to improve their squad.
Following Burnley’s victory over West Ham in August, manager Nicky Yayen encouraged Flemming to remain at the club. The forward had moved there from Millwall for £7m in 2025.
Flemming expressed pride at joining Ipswich, who marked their return to the top division with a 2-1 win over Sunderland before suffering a 5-2 defeat against Manchester United at the weekend.
He explained that he thoroughly enjoyed competing at the highest level last season against some of the world’s strongest teams and players, and is pleased to return with a club such as Ipswich.
The arrival of Flemming marks Ipswich’s 12th acquisition of the summer transfer window.
