Rangers midfielder Thelo Aasgaard has joined Anderlecht on a £1m loan deal, while the Scottish Premiership side have turned down Besiktas’ attempt to borrow Belgian international Nicolas Raskin.
Aasgaard has registered one goal across five appearances this campaign and will now spend the remainder of the season in Belgium. Anderlecht can make the Norway international’s move permanent for £5m next summer.
The 24-year-old, who arrived from Luton in 2025, is under contract with Rangers until 2029.
Raskin, meanwhile, has frequently been tipped to leave Glasgow following his impressive World Cup performances, but Rangers declined Besiktas’ loan proposal.
The 25-year-old returned to the Ibrox midfield during Wednesday’s victory at Falkirk and wore the captain’s armband in the final stages of the match.
