Several recent arrivals chose Brighton because of Vidosic and his footballing philosophy, raising questions about whether the assembled squad will fit Ruiz’s approach.
The Spanish coach has built a strong reputation in his homeland and possesses a distinct tactical identity, but he has only a few days to prepare before the WSL campaign begins.
As a result, Brighton may begin a season intended to build further momentum at an immediate disadvantage.
